1. CSISS Foundation has successfully co-organized the GeoInformatics 2009 international conference from Aug 12 to Aug 14, 2009 at George Mason University at Fairfax, VA, USA. More than 400 papers were presented by participants from over 30 countries.
 
2. On Dec. 22nd, 2008, CSISS Foundation submitted two proposals to the Google "Geo Challenge Grants".
